IPTV for Firestick
The Fire TV Stick is the device most of our customers own, so the Lumo TV app is built and tested on it first: the basic Stick, the Stick 4K and 4K Max, and the Cube. Installing takes one code in Downloader by AFTVnews, 1552690, and about two minutes.
Pictures of every step, and what to do if the Stick refuses the install, are in the Fire TV Stick setup guide and the how-to clips.
Up and down on the remote move to the next channel without a black screen, and the picture you were previewing in the guide is the one that goes full screen.
Two channels side by side on a Stick (up to four on a Cube), each with its own stream, picked from the guide or the Movies section.
Hold OK on a programme to record it to the Stick, pause live TV, and come back to it from the Recordings section.
The Stick 4K, 4K Max and Cube play the 4K channels and the 4K film library; the basic Stick gets the HD version of the same film automatically.
If you are buying one for IPTV, the Stick 4K is the sweet spot: it plays 4K, has Wi-Fi 6 and costs little more than the basic Stick. The 4K Max adds a faster processor that opens the guide and menus quicker. The Cube is the one to pick for four screens at once and for an Ethernet port without an adapter. We measured all three on the same channels in Fire TV Stick vs 4K Max vs Cube.
One connection is included. Each extra connection costs a little more per plan, and the pricing table has the full grid. There is no payment inside the app and nothing is entered on this website: you message us, we send you the login.
All of them: the Fire TV Stick Lite and basic Stick, the Stick 4K and 4K Max, and the Fire TV Cube. The 4K models play the 4K channels and films; the basic Stick plays everything in HD. Our comparison of the three is in Fire TV Stick vs 4K Max vs Cube.
Open Downloader by AFTVnews from the Amazon Appstore, type 1552690, choose Go, then Install. Restart the Fire TV once, then open Lumo TV, choose Ruby server and sign in with the username and password we send you. The whole thing takes about two minutes; the Fire TV guide has pictures of each step.
Once. Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options, Install unknown apps, then switch on Downloader. Newer Fire OS versions ask you in the moment instead.
A Stick on 5 GHz Wi-Fi with 15 Mbps or more plays HD without buffering; 25 Mbps covers 4K. If your router is far from the TV, the Fire TV Ethernet adapter removes the question entirely.
Yes. The same login works in Smarters Player, IBO Player, IM Player and most other players that take an Xtream Codes login. The free Lumo TV app is the one we build and support.
