IPTV for sports
Sports is why most people in the United States look for IPTV, so it is where Lumo TV is deepest: a channel for every team in the four big leagues, the NFL and NHL game pass groups, MLS, college football and basketball, UFC and boxing, and a Sports section in the app that lists today's games by league and tells you which channel carries each one.
A channel for every team, the NFL Game Pass group, RedZone and the multi screen feeds on Sundays, plus the national CBS, FOX, NBC and ESPN games.
All 30 NBA team channels, the WNBA, and the national TNT, ESPN and ABC games.
All 32 team channels and the NHL Game Pass group, with the Canadian feeds for Hockey Night.
Every team channel, Strike Zone and Big Inning, and the minor league group for the rest of the week.
MLS in English and Spanish, the NWSL, the European leagues on the UK and international groups, and TUDN.
NCAA football, basketball and baseball, BIG10+, SEC+ and ACC Extra, the NFHS high school network, UFC, boxing, FloSports and DAZN events.
The Sports section of the app is a schedule, not a channel list. Pick a league, pick a day, and every game shows its start time, the two teams and the channels carrying it; press one and it plays. On a Sunday with four games on, Multi screen puts two of them side by side on a Stick and four on a Cube.
A 60 frames per second game is the hardest thing a small streaming box decodes, and it is where most IPTV apps stutter. The Lumo TV app measures its own frame rate while a game plays and moves to a different decoder the moment a device starts dropping frames, so the picture stays smooth instead of freezing every few seconds. The same engine keeps channel changes at about half a second.
Each state page lists the teams whose channels are in the guide for that state: Texas, California, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Massachusetts and the rest.
The team channel groups for the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB (one channel per team), the NFL Game Pass and NHL Game Pass groups, MLS with English and Spanish feeds, NCAA football, men's and women's basketball and baseball, the ESPN+, Peacock, Paramount+, Disney+ and MAX event feeds, FloSports, DAZN events, plus the national ESPN, FOX Sports, CBS Sports, NBC Sports and TNT channels.
Open Sports in the app menu. It lists today's games by league (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, UFC and more), and pressing a game shows the channels carrying it, so you never scroll a list of 20,000 channels looking for a kickoff.
Sports feeds at 60 frames a second are the hardest thing a small box decodes. The Lumo TV app watches its own frame rate and switches decoder when a device starts dropping frames, which is why a Stick plays a 60 fps game smoothly where other apps judder.
Yes. Multi screen puts two games side by side on a Stick and up to four on a Cube, each on its own stream. Hold OK on a channel and choose Multi screen.
The team channel groups carry each NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB team's broadcast, and the regional networks we carry (NBC Sports California and Philadelphia, AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh and others) sit in the sports group. Your state page lists the teams for your state.
