IPTV devices
You do not need a special box for IPTV. The free Lumo TV app runs on the Fire TV and Android devices most homes already own, and the same login works in the players that iPhones and smart TVs can install. Here is what each device does well, and which one to buy if you are starting from nothing.
The device we build for first. One code in Downloader by AFTVnews (1552690) installs the app; the 4K models play the 4K channels and films. IPTV for Firestick.
Everything the Stick does, plus an Ethernet port, a faster chip, and up to four channels at once in Multi screen. Stick vs Cube.
Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, Xiaomi, onn. and most Android boxes install the app from Downloader or a browser. Android TV setup.
Android 7.0 or newer. Install from lumotv.app/app.apk, sign in, and the same guide, movies and series travel with you. Android phone setup.
CAST4k from the App Store, signed in with a profile code we send you. Same channels, guide and films. How CAST4k works.
Smarters Player Lite or IBO Player from the TV app store, with the username and password we send. A Fire TV Stick in the HDMI port is the quicker option.
Boxes built for IPTV connect to the VIP server by MAC address: you send us the address the box shows, we activate it, and it opens with nothing to type. The VIP server.
Add the VIP server as a Stalker portal with the MAC address TiviMate shows, and it fills with the same channels and guide. TiviMate setup.
Buy a Fire TV Stick 4K. It costs little more than the basic Stick, plays 4K, and the app installs with one code. Choose a Fire TV Cube if your router is far from the TV (it has Ethernet) or if you want four games on one screen. Choose an Android TV box only if you already own one or need something the Fire TV cannot do. The internet connection matters more than the box: 15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K, and 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a cable for live sport.
For most people a Fire TV Stick 4K: cheap, fast enough, plays 4K, and the app installs with one code. A Fire TV Cube or a good Android TV box adds Ethernet and four screens at once. A phone is fine for travel but not for a living room.
No. The free Lumo TV app runs on the Fire TV and Android TV devices people already own. Dedicated Android boxes such as the Formuler and MAG families also work; the VIP server activates them by MAC address with nothing to type.
Samsung and LG smart TVs use Smarters Player Lite or IBO Player from their app stores with the same login. A Fire TV Stick plugged into the TV is simpler and faster, and gets the Lumo TV app itself.
Yes, through CAST4k from the App Store, with a profile code we give you. There is no Apple TV app yet.
